SEEKING KNOWLEDGE

QURAN 6:125 "And whosoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whosoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus Allah puts the wrath on those who believe not."

This constriction does not indicate about slowness in grasping knowledge - this constriction is about being reluctant to learn and reluctant to adhere to the Commands of Allah

Manner in Supplicating....

"People should avoid lifting their eyes towards the sky while supplicating in prayer, otherwise their eyes would be snatched away."

Sahih Muslim Book 4 Hadith 863

We fear Death but we do not Fear our sins....

Many among us who fear more death than their sins. Because of this intense fear, many have done more drastic deeds that will lead them to a total destruction in akheerah.

Dont we know that we only experience death once but the punishment of our sins will be inflicted on us many times than ONCE?

"Those who reject our signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire; As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise"  [Al-Qur’an 4:56]

PAALALA SA AKIN AT SA INYONG LAHAT......

Quran 4:78 "Wherever ye are, death will find you out, even if ye are in towers built up strong and high!"

Quran 49:13 "Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)."

JazakAllah khair,

IMPORTANCE OF FIVE TIMES PRAYER

"Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salât (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salât (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught." (Sura Maryam, ayat 59-60)

note: Here we see what is the place for those who have abandoned the prayer but Allah (swt) is the most merciful and gives us chances to repent and be saved.

Allah (swt) says in Sura Al-Mâ'ûn

"So woe unto those performers of Salât (prayers) (hypocrites),Who delay their Salât (prayer) from their stated fixed times,Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men)," (Sura Al-Mâ'ûn, ayat 4 - 6)

note: This ayah shows us that we have to pray our Salah on its fixed timings and not dalay them without a valid reason (i.e. traveling, jihad etc..) and how much we need to have sincaerity in your prayer and do it only for Allah (swt).

Allah (swt) further warns us in the Quran

"O you who believe! Let not your properties or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allâh. And whosoever does that, then they are the losers." (Sura Al-Munaafiqoon, ayah #9)

The commentators of the Qur'aan say:

"The 'remembrance of Allaah' mentioned in these Aayaat means the five daily prayers. If anyone is so busy in buying and selling, or with his daily work of earning a livelihood, or with his children, that he cannot perform prayers on time, he will be among the losers."

Informing us about the inhabitants of Hell, Allaah (SWT) says

"(The people in Hell will be asked "What has caused you to enter Hell? They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salât (prayers). Nor did we feed the poor. And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allaah hated) with vain-talkers. And we used to belie thc Day of Recompense. Until there came to us that which is certain (i.e., death). So no Intercession of intercessors will benefit them.  (Sura Al-Muddaththir, ayah 42-48)

Rasulullah (SAW) said

"The covenant between us and them is prayer, so if anyone abandons it he has become a disbeliever."

(Agreed upon by Ahmad, Tirmidhee and Nasaa'ee to be authentic)

In an other Hadith of Rasulullah (SAW) said

"What lies between a man and disbelief is the abandonment of prayer."

( Agreed upon by Muslim, Abu Dawood and Nasaa'ee as sahih authentic)

IMPORTANCE OF AS'R PRAYER

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 10, Number 527 Narrated Ibn ‘Umar:

“Whoever misses the ‘Asr prayer (intentionally), then it is as if he lost his family and property.”

Imagine such a loss. And it’s not so hard to imagine. Some people have to through natural disasters like earthquakes and floods in order to lose their family and property. Some people do it simply by not praying/delaying ‘Asr.

You woke up, prayed, helped your mother in the kitchen, smiled at your brother, carried someone’s baggage for them, gave good advice to a friend, swallowed your anger for Allah’s sake, and left the ‘Asr prayer because you were busy playing/working. Guess what, all those good deeds, LOST. Like you never did them. And ‘all good deeds’ probably implies the good deeds you’ve done all your life. This is just a day’s work. SubhanAllah.
Remember, delaying the prayer intentionally and not praying at all are the same.

حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَىٰ
“Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salat (i.e. the best prayer – ‘Asr).” [Al-Baqarah: 238]

No doubt, the middle prayer, ‘Asr, holds immense importance. This does not mean the other prayers are any less significant. It’s just to emphasize and remind us that we better not leave our prayers, especially the ‘Asr prayer. Because we usually tend to forget this one. Either we’re busy working, or studying, or even resting. That time of the day you find the roads jammed. So in all that rush, we’re likely to forget/delay our ‘Asr prayer. One word: DON’T!

How to lov a decent woman Islam Way

If you love someone and she is upholding to the ways of Islam, make a decent woman out of her by marrying her. Do not treat her like how the non-muslims are treating their women. Having an “open relationship“ with her nor having a “complicated relationship“ with her do not do her justice.
Before marriage, every words of love that you utter to her added more to your sins BUT after marriage, each words have become part of your worship to Allah.
